Yes it is Elaine, I grow it for the cinnabar moth. I had caterpillars last year and have seen moths in the garden recently. I am hoping they will use the Ragwort to lay their eggs :)
Lovely images, Cheryl, and I do understand. Reading Poppi's comments on your last post, I think she understands, too. You have passed the legacy of loving the earth and its creatures on to her. She is a very lucky little girl to have you as her Nana.
Thank you Rose. I am blessed to have her.....and of course, my two darling Grandsons who are being brought up to respect the wildlife that lives alongside us.
I am sure she will especially like the fairy lace hanging in the morning mist.
ReplyDeleteOf course, that is what it is Lisa :) We think alike........
DeleteHow lovely, beautiful words Cheryl and oh so true. The first picture is particularly appealing - is it Ragwort?

DeleteLovely. How lucky Poppi is to have a Nana like you. And how lucky you are to have your Poppi. The garden does look magical in the morning mist.
ReplyDeleteI think a mist hanging over a garden is like the beginning of time ..............

Cobwebs are magical................very special, when they gather water, it adds another dimension to the image.
