Hi Cheryl! Yes they are so beautiful. They are moths aren't they? I remember the name but can't think of it now as I have oldheimers lol. We have those here too. The first time I saw one I was amazed in it's beauty. (please excuse my ignorance if this isn't a moth)
Rochester says "arf" and he will share an old sock with Nella. Your pictures are stunning. Love the new blog. Looks like I should change to one of these layouts. They are very nice :)
OOOH!!..exquisite indeed....nice blues with great back drops!! Third photo from the last really gives a good view of the under and upper wings !! Well the weekend is upon us again I cannot believe it....it is very warm and sunny today so I better get outside I have some things that "have" to get down...been putting them off but.... Hope your weekend goes well!!
Hi Sandy.....'the blues' are tiny butterflies. When I say tiny, they really are small. It is difficult to capture them with a camera. I was very lucky today..........
Hi Grammie.....thank you. We have a cloudy humid day...... I have been cutting the hedges back today. Not a job a particularly like but a job that needs to be done. Hope you manage to finish your chores.....and have a lovely weekend.
Absolutely. Tiny, elegant little things. They would be hard to see clearly with the eye. Thank goodness for digital cameras:) We can enjoy their beauty more easily. Marnie
Sorry if you get my comment twice - computer is having a funny 5 minutes! Isn't Nature wonderful? Who else could design and paint something as beautiful as that and to get it all made in such a tiny size! Love the colour scheme too.
Gorgeous! And here I thought the post was going to be about blue flowers. P.S. I finally received my mini envelopes and will put the seeds in the mail to you on Monday! :)
Cheryl, Your photos of the blues are amazing - I especially like the ones with the white petals in the background. I was thinking it would be flowers too - the only blue flowers right now here are the plumbagos (leadwort). Actually it's so darned hot there's not too much bloom - thank goodness for geraniums!
Dear Cheryl, The blues are so very charming...I know how tiny and exquisite they are too. You have taken incredible photographs of them. They are the spoke bug for naturalize lawns.....my little blues love clover... I think I will go back and revisit your Blues....so sweet. Sherry
