BZzzzzzzzzz

I am a woman.....I am allowed to change my mind. I am a Pisces, we often decide on one line of action, and then take precisely the opposite course. Mr P calls me a butterfly because I flit from one thing to another, but never quite settle. I like being me......
Whilst I can ignore the blooms in my garden, and not feel a need to post.....

It doesn't matter how beautiful they are....I can appreciate them and walk by......BUT
when a queen bee arrives, I have to tell everybody.
I watched her every movement, as she danced among the crocus blooms.
They are such exquisite creatures.
Oh joy, the bees are back.......

Thank goodness the Bees have returned. The Queen is gorgeous.....I can hear her.
Spring is in full swing in your gardens....mine are just awakening.....I am waiting for the bees....
    Spring and bees and smiles.
    Once again we dance.

  5. Hi Cheryl,

I've seen a Bumble and a Honey Bee today and then had a wasp in the bathroom this evening :)

So exciting to see them, no hoverflies yet though, hopefully soon!

  6. Wow, lovely pictures, you must have been so pleased to take these!!
It's also a sign that you are much further south than us - it'd be a brave bee that ventured into North Wales at the moment(apart from today when it has been lovely, warm and sunny).
Please do keep sharing when you feel like it ... I'd miss you otherwise ;o)

  10. Oh, I am so glad you decided to share this with us, Cheryl--these photos are exquisite! I don't think I've ever seen a queen bee in my garden before; lucky you to be honored by such royalty. These are such lovely images of spring--you've lifted up my spirits as the wind howls and the snow begins to fall here once again.

  11. Hi Liz, only you would have a wasp in the bathroom in February....ha!

It is too early for hoverflies in this part of the country. We are back to cold and gloom today. I expect the queen bee has taken to her bed again!!!!

Have a lovely weekend....I am off to Cornwall with Mr P.

  12. Dan tku, such a nice thing to say.....

The temperatures rose to 14C yesterday, so I was not surprised to see the queen bee in the garden.
There are so many blooms, she has plenty of plants to choose from.

  13. How lovely that she popped in to see you and that you popped in to tell us Cheryl :) Her visit must have been so welcome at this changeable time of year. I have read that several of my blogland friends in Kent have seen bees and even a butterfly or two!!! in the last few days, the year seems more advanced there, no such sightings here yet.

Yesterday was a beautiful, golden day but today is gloomy again although still quite mild.

The photos of your delightful visitor are beautiful and the flowers which attracted her royal highness are so pretty!

Have a wonderful time with Mr P in Cornwall Cheryl, I hope the weather is kind to you :)

  14. Rose, I feel so guilty, here am I flaunting my lovely bee and you are watching the snow fall.
I do hope the weather changes soon, and that spring arrives in your part of the world.....

  15. Hi Jan, butterflies, they are early. I do not think the butterflies will return to this part of Kent for a little while. The cold wind that often visits the garden keeps them away.
I expect my first butterfly visitor will be the orange tip.

I am glad you had a golden day, it gives one a taste of what is to come....

Thank you re Cornwall, I am just looking forward to spending some time with Mr P. We do not get to spend much time with each other due to his work........so these breaks are very much needed. Time to walk and talk......

Hope you and yours are keeping well...

  17. I'm married to a Pisces and even small decision sticking seems a challenge too far. Anyway am so glad you're such a butterfly, Cheryl, as we would have missed this enchanting post. I've been amazed at the number of honey bees buzzing and your Queen Bumble doing handstands in the crocus is pure delight.

  18. Hi Cheryl...Just getting back from visit with my daughter for a few days.
Glad to see your post and I must say it is a lovely one....aren't you sort of like the Queen Bee dancing around blogging!! ♥

  19. I'm so glad you are sharing your bee with us! Nice to see your lovely pics of spring flowers and bees! Thank you. Ours will come, in time. For now I will enjoy yours.
    Take care my butterfly friend.

  20. Haven't seen any bees yet - not that they would get much joy in my garden at present. Crocuses don't do well here and slugs are holding competitions to see who can eat a daffodil the fastest.

  21. I would blog about that too - I'm on the look out for bees but with a busy schedule I have not been able to spend long enough in the garden to spectate. I love your bee photos - I can't wait to take some like that. I just hope that this year the bees don't take revenge on me.
