A few degrees and wow.

Just a little bit of sunshine, makes the world of difference.
 Everything explodes.   Bursting bud.
The simplest of combination bring a smile.
Winter starts to fade and Spring is making her presence felt.
The older I get the more precious these times are.
I love the gentle heat that Spring brings.
To watch plants make their way to the sun.
Hope runs through me, for this is another gardening season.
Winter has been harsh but already it is fading.
Oh to be in England now that Spring is here :)

  2. Seeing all of these blooms makes my heart leap. We had a couple of tulips open today in the sun but it is still quite cool. Record lows for the next few nights then it is supposed to go back to normal...what ever that is. Have a great weekend!

    1. What is normal now Lisa? I really am not sure.
It is good to feel a little warmth from the sun, certainly enough to get me excited.

      Have a lovely weekend.
I treated myself to some shuttlecock ferns so will be planting them today :)

Wasn't sure about pink daffodils at first but I love them now. It has taken a good few years :)

  5. Glorious! Just glorious! So happy to see the burst of colour and life radiating from your garden, Cheryl! Your pics just made my day! And yes another gardening season is upon us (well you, not quite me, but it's coming).

Still snow here and cold, but the shoots of crocuses and daffys and I think a hyacinth or two are poking up in my south facing garden. I can see a few holes where naughty squirrels or chipmunks have dug in the earth looking for bulbs to eat, but there are still plenty left.

    Happy gardening!

    1. Glad you enjoyed them Wendy.

It has been a long winter for you. Mind you that is usual for Canada, isn't it??
Our skies are now grey again and there is a chilly wind taking temperatures down once again.
It has been such a fickle Spring.

    2. Yes Cheryl our winters are long, but this year has been exceptionally cold and long. I remember some years in early April the sun was out and snow truly melted away. I think this has been the coldest April on record! Ah, but I do remember very warm days this past October. Unusually warm and I blogged or wrote somewhere about wearing flip-flops. :-)

  6. Such beautiful images, Cheryl! We have had warm weather the past three days and some sunshine, and what a difference it has made. Finally, the daffodils are blooming, and I see signs of emerging growth everywhere. All these little blooms certainly lift the spirit, don't they?

We've enjoyed a wonderful day, even saw some butterflies dancing in the breeze and sunshine, a lovely sight.
