Euphorbia amygdaloides

and raindrops.

  1. A plant that has something to offer every season.
    A must have for me.

    1. I haven't had luck growing euphorbias in my garden. I have tried several. I think we don't get enough rain and I don't water quite enough. This one is a beauty especially with rain drops upon its leaves. Rain and cold is supposed to come in late tonight. We had a perfect spring day here. Ha...

    2. Once established this one will tolerate dry conditions. The euphorbia in the image is planted beneath a huge Eucalyptus and has been there for around six years thus far.
Lisa, I love the lime green/yellow flowers in the Spring, they wake up the whole garden.

It is chilly and wet here. Looks like we have a week of rain ahead.
The garden then becomes a bog :)

Have a good week Lisa and I hope thanksgiving went well.

  2. Hello dear Cheryl!
Such a beautiful plant and the raindrops look like little crystals on the leaves!
Gorgeous picture and a great capture from you!
Have a lovely day and a happy weekend!

  3. Drops of water on plants always look incredibly refreshing

  4. Yes Simon, I suppose they do.

  5. What a mouthful! I learn so much when I come here, Cheryl. Will definitely look up this plant as it looks like a keeper!

    Pretty with the raindrops...
